Do you like singing?
If you enjoy choral singing, you may like to know about Goldsmiths Choral Union, a large, independent London choir which rehearses at Baden Powell House near South Kensington tube station, on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 – 9.15pm and which performs choral works in London’s major concert venues. Recent concerts include Bach’s B Minor Mass at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Handel’s Messiah at the Royal Albert Hall as well as a concert celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. Forthcoming concerts include the Brahms’ German Requiem at St. John’s Smith Square on 18 June 2015 and Berlioz’ Grande Messe des Morts at the Royal Albert Hall on 30 November 2015. The choir is very friendly and welcomes new members.
